FAQ
1. Do you offer family nutrition counseling?
Yes! The Dietitian's Fix offers family nutrition counseling. Families come in all shapes and sizes, but what matters most is that if you and your family are looking to improve your health together, you've come to the right place.
Samantha Huber, RDN, commonly works with families on weight loss, overall healthy eating, and structuring a balanced diet both at home and outside. While she has experience in various areas of family nutrition counseling, these are the most frequent topics addressed.

2. How many appointments does a patient typically see you for?
The answer to this question varies, and this is because it depends on what a patient is being seen for. The minimum amount of times Samantha has seen a patient is 3 sessions and the maximum amount of times she has seen a patient is 8 months. The number of appointments typically depends on a patients treatment plan.
3. Do you see patients for only 1 appointment?
Samantha recommends that new patients attend at least two sessions to make meaningful progress, although it is not a strict requirement. Patients are welcome to book just one appointment if that is all they feel they need.
However, there is an exception for patients seeking weight loss assistance. Samantha does not schedule single appointments for weight loss, as achieving sustainable changes typically requires more than one visit. Her approach to weight loss involves various methods, some of which may span up to six months.
If you’re interested in weight loss support and have questions about the number of appointments you might need, book a FREE 15-minute consultation with Samantha by visiting her Contact page.
