Hello! I hope you're having a wonderful day!
I am going to jump right in and start this introduction by telling you a secret about myself! One of my core values in life is establishing trust, and in order for you to gain my trust I am going to let you take a sneak peak into my life!
Samantha Huber MS, RDN, LDN, CPT
In my day-to-day life, I wear many hats. I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT), and a mama to my two beautiful babies, Parker (3½ years old) and Penelope (14 months).
My days are filled with a mix of activities: doing dishes, chasing Parker around the house, enjoying baby snuggles while watching CoComelon, answering emails from clients, writing new workouts for my group fitness classes, and spending quality time with my husband. So how did I end up an RDN?My journey to becoming an RDN was full of unexpected turns. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Biology and started graduate school to become a Physician Assistant. However, I soon realized that my true calling was to become an RDN.
During my clinical rotations in Emergency Medicine, Cardiology, and Obstetrics and Gynecology, I had the opportunity to work with an RDN. I was captivated by how food was used to heal patients in the clinical setting. This experience sparked my interest in the diverse roles of an RDN, both in clinical environments and beyond. I was excited by the prospect of combining my creativity, love for fitness, and passion for helping and healing into one career. Determined to pursue this newfound passion, I switched my graduate studies to nutrition and, a few years later, earned a Master’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics. Now, I have the privilege of working in my private practice, where I help clients heal, become stronger, and build a healthy relationship with food. I also bring my love for cooking and creativity into my work through hosting cooking classes. Where Did the Group Fitness Portion of The Dietitian's Fix Come From?Fitness has always been a passion of mine, and I always knew I wanted to combine nutrition and fitness under one roof.
In August 2024, I realized that dream by integrating my love for group fitness into The Dietitian's Fix, LLC. As a young girl, I loved being on stage, taking singing, dancing, and acting classes. Around that time, I also developed a deep interest in fitness. At 17, I was approached by a woman from the local YMCA who saw potential in me as a group fitness instructor. Though I had never considered it before, I quickly discovered that teaching group fitness was where I was meant to be. I began with spin classes, which soon expanded to bootcamps, Tabata, HIIT, and much more. Now, 15 years later, I bring my stage presence to the front of the room with every class I teach. This passion is what led me to become the owner of The Dietitian's Fix, LLC, where I’m thrilled to offer both food and fitness under one roof. Continue to the Group Fitness page to learn more! |
